    • Determining needs & requirements
    • Planning project / programs
    • Evaluating products and technologies
    • Developing & implementing projects

    …according to a SET OF METHODOLOGIES

    that RESULTS IN SUCCESSFUL SYSTEMS that

    • increase productivity
    • improve the effectiveness / efficiency of laboratory operations
    • reduce operating costs, and
    • provide higher quality data.

    The products and technologies used can come from a wide range of sources that include hardware, software, robotics, etc., depending on the needs and science in a particular lab.  In order to be successful automation needs to be applied to a process.
